Ceremony at the Lake

2.30pm-5.30pm

The ceremony will take place at the lakeside and starts at 3pm. Plenty of parking is available, the next public stop transport is a 15-minutes walk. A shuttle will be available if needed. The ceremony will be followed by an Apéro Riche.

    Dinner & Party

    7pm-1am

    The dinner will take place at the Antico Ristorante Borromeo, in the center of Ascona, at 7pm. Refreshments will already be available at 6.30pm. Plenty of parking is available and the public transport stop (Ascona, Centro) is a 5-minutes walk. The evening will end at 1am.

      Sunday Activity

      11am-4pm

      We will take the cable car from Orselina, Stazione Funivia to Cardada. The cable car runs every 15-30 minutes. As we will have to split for the ride, we suggest that you arrive between 11.10am and 11.40pm (bus 3 arrival 11.37 at Orselina, Stazione).

      At 12.00pm we will start walking from Cardada to the hut “Capanna Lo Stallone”. The hike is 2km and 170m uphill. Strollers with motivated parents can get through. A light lunch will be served at 1pm at the Capanna.

      Sporty participants also have the option to walk all the way up from Locarno/Orselina to Cardada or walk up to Cimetta after lunch.

      If the weather doesn’t allow this, we will organise a different activity (tbd as it is on the to do list 😉)
