Ceremony at the Lake

2.30pm-5.30pm

The ceremony will take place at the lakeside and starts at 3pm. Plenty of parking is available, the next public stop transport is a 15-minutes walk. A shuttle will be available if needed. The ceremony will be followed by an Apéro Riche.

    Dinner & Party

    7pm-1am

    The dinner will take place at the Antico Ristorante Borromeo, in the center of Ascona, at 7pm. Refreshments will already be available at 6.30pm. Plenty of parking is available and the public transport stop (Ascona, Centro) is a 5-minutes walk. The evening will end at 1am.

      Sunday Activity

      11am-4pm

      We will take the cable car from Orselina, Stazione Funivia to Cardada. The cable car runs every 15-30 minutes. As we will have to split for the ride, we suggest that you arrive between 11.10am and 11.40am (bus 3 arrival 11.37 at Orselina, Stazione).

      We will start the activities from Cardada at 12:00 pm. There are three options: 1) Walk up to Cimetta (3 km, 300 m ascent, 1 hour), 2) Take the cable car to Cimetta, or 3) Just enjoy the view. From 1 pm, we will then meet at “Casa Colmanicchio”. A light lunch will be served from 1:30 pm.
      In case of bad weather, we will go directly to “Casa Colmanicchio” for lunch, good conversation and board games.
      If the cable car does not run due to bad weather, we will provide an alternative plan at short notice.
